A glorious autumn day was the back drop for another successful Autumn Glow fund raising event. Holby City star Luisa Bradshaw-White launched the year’s final angel wishes balloons in brilliant sunshine in the grounds of Iwade village hall on Saturday 15th October. Over 100 participants enjoyed pampering treats in a relaxed atmosphere, which helped to raise £125 for the Tsunami Appeal (bringing the grand total for the year to £370) and £150 for Diabetes UK Swale & Medway branch. In the three years that local residents Janet Gregory and Julie Ransley have been organizing these events over £1800 has been donated to local charities. The next annual Autumn Glow complementary therapy taster event will be on Saturday 14th October 2006. Click on any of the photos on the left to see a larger photo...
