Parents of Freya Emma Quested, Sean and Emma of Iwade had a lovely surprise in the post shortly after Freya's birth - a letter from the government and Olympic 2012 Bid Committee asking if they would consider allowing Freya to become part of the Olympics opening/closing ceremonies along with all the other children born on 20/12/2004. This was dependent on the bid being successful of course. Now that we have won the 2012 Olympic bid little Freya who will be 7 years old will have the honour of being part of the Olympics opening and closing ceremonies. Good luck Freya!

Freya has featured in the local press and as she is a 'Spurs Dribbler' will be doing something with Tottenham Hotspur and the Premiership, both of whom backed the Olympic bid. Sean and Emma are awaiting contact from the Tottenham Press Office so watch this space for more from Freya...
