Have you considered Hypnotherapy? Now that Christmas is long gone, and the frantic pace of shopping at the Sales is over, how are those New Year Resolutions holding up? Perhaps you only made one, or not even that. Maybe you found that they were never kept in previous years. This could be because you were not using the right language. Certain words need to be avoided and often when we use the wrong words it tends to take our mind quickly back to all the other failures we have suffered, only making us feel worse. A skilled hypnotherapist can change all that, by using the correct words. Positive people will tend to dwell on positive things so when they think of something good their mind goes to other positive things they have experienced, whereas a negative person experiences just the opposite. Whereas the positive person has a motorway to good feelings and memories, with the negative pathways overgrown with weeds, a negative person will have their good memories and feelings buried but a fastrack to the negative ones, being fed from other roads with more negative thoughts of failure in the past. What the therapist does is to build on the positive so that becomes your motorway and the negative routes get overgrown through lack of use. Remember that Negative attracts negativity and Positive thoughts attract positive action. So every time you catch yourself thinking negatively, immediately change that negative thought to a positive one. It can be done, even though challenging at times. With practise it becomes easier and easier. With the thought of Spring coming after this hard Winter, why not get your mind into gear and give thought to what will make you really happy. Want it to happen, expect it to happen, allow it to happen. Your thoughts of today create your tomorrow, so be careful what you think! Keep it positive. Remember that old song "You've got to ... accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative! Keep singing that to yourself if you are as old as me and remember it! Should you want a bit of one to one assistance in achieving your goal, then give me a call on (01795) 424 241 to make an appointment. Linda L. Smith
