Time for a new hall to fit our growing 'village'?
Iwade Village Hall Committee have submitted a planning application for 10 properties on the current hall site to raise money for a new hall.

Remember the Village Hall Survey you received with your newsletter? The majority of responses showed that residents feel they do need a new hall.

Properties neighbouring the current Village Hall site will have received a letter this week notifying them of a planning application for 10 properties on the current site.

If the new hall project goes ahead the land that the current hall sits on will be sold and the money put towards the new hall which will be on School Lane recreation ground.

Outline planning permission will mean that the current hall land is more valuable so more money into the pot for the new hall.

The Village Hall Committee would like to stress that they will not allow Iwade to be without a village hall at any point. If the new hall goes ahead the current hall will not be decommissioned until the new hall is up and running.
