Have you ever wanted to act? Were you nervous about how to start or whether you could learn the lines? Now is your opportunity. Coming to Iwade soon is a new, unique theatrical presentation. If you wish to know more or to join us then contact Pamela by phone 01795 437 026 or email as soon as possible. You can also click on 'More' to read just that!

We need actors - about 3 ladies and 12 men and a boy with a youthful voice. No experience is necessary. We are looking for interesting, colourful, lively voices, of any accent. Only your voices are required – you will not be seen - no worries about acting on stage. Though lines are best learnt, you will have a script in front of you during the live performances.

If you would like to help but prefer not to act we also require, backstage, technical and front of house help which will be of equal importance to the production. The plan is to hold audition and rehearsals in February and March with performance in April.

This production is supported by a generous grant from IdeasTest and Creative People and Places.

You will be hearing much more of them in the coming months. Contact Pamela by phone 01795 437 026 or email at

If the production is successful we intend to form a permanent Iwade drama group which may present more traditional plays so watch this space!
