How do I find what I want?

Choose a menu item at the top of each page for the section that you want. You'll be taken to the home page for each section but you'll have more options down the left-hand side in some sections. Try it and see!

Home

The Home page gives you local news, interesting links and some reminders about events coming soon.

What's On

What's On currently gives you two sections, a Village Calendar and an A-Z of Clubs and Activities. Use the Village Calendar for specific event information and dates, for example the Church Flower Festival. There might even be links to other relevant sites if they exist. Use the A-Z of Clubs and Activities to see what's on in the village on a regular basis. Perhaps you fancy trying something new?! Note that lots of activities are on term-time only so watch out for those. The Village Calendar should indicate school holidays to help those of you out who don't have school-age children.

Parish Council

The Parish Council area has an introduction to the Council on the home page and an archive of minutes available down the left. This will grow with time. Look out for a more detailed rundown of the Parish Council, this will be coming soon.

Community

The Community area of the site has pages for Services, All Saint's Church, Iwade County Primary School, Iwade Health Centre and the Community Warden. These should provide you with useful information such as contact details plus items of interest, such as the history of the church.

Directory

The Directory allows businesses to advertise their services to the local community. Contact nicola@iwadevillage.co.uk if you are interested in advertising and would like to find out more or call Nicola on 01795 439892.

Classified

The Classified area of the site is a free-ads area where you can sell your sofa, tell the village you want a lift to London, or advertise your holiday home to let (for example!). This is not designed for businesses and if you would like to sell your house, you are very welcome but there will be a small charge, prices on request.

Archive

The Archive is where articles that are no longer current are archived so they can still be accessed. Note that some articles will have a link from the relevant page where they are no longer current, e.g. the Church Flower Festival article can be accessed from the Church page under the Community menu and the interview with Dr Collins can now be accessed from the Health Centre menu.
