IWADE WI at its best with their clothes on!!

We had our Harvest Supper last Wednesday night 16/09/2015. We were lucky that it fell on the actual day of the centenary. So as we invite guests from all the Wi's in our Group plus our twinned WI at Rochester, Kent. We decided to put on a 'tongue in cheek' show of 'Fashion through the Decades' Our Secretary Glenn spent many a happy hour putting together information to accompany the girls as they 'walked the walk' down the length of our Village Hall at Iwade, Kent. Also accompanied by music of the era. It was very well received with lots of laughter. Along with a fruit & veg raffle & a lovely meal made by all our members. We gave everyone a piece of Centenary Cake from the WI Cookbook. Made by me... Val. I hope all your celebrations have gone well. What an achievement 100 Years...
