Do you want to do something new, do something extra, do something special? Then maybe the Kent Special Constabulary is for you. Click on more to find out just that!

As volunteer police officers, Special Constables have full police powers, uniforms and equipment and work alongside police officers and PCSOs to help protect and serve the people of Kent. There are 320 Special Constables in Kent aged from 18 ½ to 67 yrs. They are involved in Roads Policing, Marine Unit, CID, Rural Policing, and Town Centre Policing. These volunteer officers are a valuable resource, which supports regular officers in delivering high visibility policing in the community.

Kent Special Constabulary are recruiting now.

They want to hear from you if you are 18 years or older, no upper limit. You are fit and healthy. You are wiling to give a minimum of 16 hours per month.
