Beavers with 1st Iwade Scouts is held on Monday evenings at Iwade Village Hall for boys and girls aged 6 to 8 rrom 6pm to 7pm termtime only. Get in touch or pop along if you would like to find out more.
Bootcamp Fitness with Adi
Iwade Bootcamp Fitness sessions are every Wednesday 18.20hrs (for 18.30hrs) meeting at the Stangate Drive/Chetney View park. All welcome. Advisable to prebook via Facebook group or via Adi's mobile. Click on Get in touch for links and contact details.

Brownies is for girls aged 7 to 10 years and is on Wednesdays 5pm to 6.30pm at Iwade Community Primary School term-time only. Do get in touch if your child is interested in joining.
Craft Club at the Woolpack

Iwade Cubs meet at Iwade Village Hall on Mondays from 7-8:20pm. If your child is interested in joining then either go along or get in touch as above.

Elite Dance Company run Gymnastics, Dance and Musical Theatre classes in Iwade throughout the week so get in touch to find out what classes are on when or check out their website or facebook page.

Iwade Allotment Association
The Iwade Allotment Association site is at the end of Elm Tree Avenue Iwade there tends to be a short waiting list but do get in touch if you are interested in an allotment.
Iwade Companionship Walks
Iwade Companionship Walks have been running for many years and meet every Thursday outside Iwade Pharmacy at 10.30am for a 10.45am start. Administrated by Steff, the walks last 60-90 minutes and tend to be across rough ground so do wear suitable footwear. Be aware that you may come across farm animals and dogs. No charge and all welcome, although unfortunately no dogs, except guide dogs or assistance dogs.
Iwade Friendship Club
Friendship Club is a lively and sociable fortnightly Monday morning get-together for Iwade residents of a certain age! There is often a talk or an activity or just enjoy a chat and a hot drink for £1.50. 10.15am to 12 midday at Iwade Barn. Keep an eye on the What's On for the next Monday Friendship Club.
Iwade Herons Football Club is well established in Iwade and currently has teams ranging from Under 6's to Under 13's - get in touch to find out more.
Established in 2011 Iwade Rock is infamous in Iwade and around getting bigger and better every time.
Iwade Speedway Mini Track
A speedway training track perfect for all ages and abilities with their own equipment. Practice sessions are run on a regular basis with all info on booking in announced prior to the date.
The aim of the track is to provide a safe and fun environment for children to learn how to ride motorbikes correctly with instructors on hand should anyone need them. We also provide adult pit bike events during the winter months.
Iwade Village Fete is new for 2021, hopefully the first year of many! On Saturday 14th August 2021 from 11am to 3pm at Iwade Barn All Saints Close Iwade ME9 8FP (opposite the Woolpack), everything you'd expect from a Fete, stalls, refreshments, dance demonstrations and even a charity head shave for Pilgrims Hospice! Expect an amazing range of stalls as the takeup has been amazing from local businesses keen to get involved. See you there!
Iwade Village Food and Craft Fayre
Iwade Food and Craft Fayre is normally every second Sunday of the month at Iwade Village Hall 10am to 1pm. Why not go along and support local handmade businesses! For stallholders it's worth getting in touch with email@example.com for booking information and to see what space is available, indoor or outdoor. Note that outdoor stall spaces require you to provide your own table and gazebo :-)
Amanda Claridge runs a children's only Shotokan Karate club at Iwade and Bobbing schools. Amanda has been teaching karate for over 15 years and is a teacher at the school too. She welcomes all children from year R onwards to come and learn the skills and discipline of karate at a fun and friendly club. Classes are £4 and are term time only. At Iwade School, there is a 5-6pm class for beginners, 9th-8th kyu and a 6-7pm class for advanced, 8th kyu +. There is also a class at Bobbing School on Mondays 5-6pm for all grades.
Kingsquad is a Christian based club with crafts and games based on bible stories. There is a small charge of £1 per child to cover costs. For primary school aged children Year 3 to Year 6. Every Thursday in termtime from 3.30pm to 4.30pm at Iwade Barn.
Little Stars run dance classes at Iwade Village Hall on Fridays after school.
Medway Model Flying club started in 1974 in Gillingham but without land and has been flying near the Solar Farm at Iwade since 1980. After flying from June Thomas's land at Raspberry Hill over the back of the Woolpack, Mr Doubleday Senior offered a field where the club continue to fly to this day and the club is extremely grateful. Hence Medway club based in Swale! We fly most types of models including fixed wing, helicopters and drones. We currently have spaces for members both experienced and novice. Check out our Facebook page for more info and club pics or come and visit us if you are interested in joining and flying or learning to fly a model.
Men's Breakfast Club
Every first Tuesday of the month at Iwade Barn, Iwade Men's Breakfast Club always have sausage and bacon butties and coffee or tea and often have a speaker or activity. All welcome, 9.30-11.30am @ the Barn. £2 including breakfast.
Millan Waters Fishery is near Iwade its lake being between 6 and 7 acres and has excellent water quality throughout the season. The syndicate is a "members only" water (limited member guest tickets are available by prior agreement) and no fishing is available to the general public. There is an abundance of bushes and trees around the lake itself which provide prolific insect life throughout the season. Depths vary but a highlight is a deep channel which provides cooler water in the summer months. Regular stockings are made consisting of rainbow & brown trout, creating a unique fishing facility in this area. The Fishery has its own car park, returns hut and several small boats for members use if fishing afloat is desirable. Fishing platforms are well established around the lake and members can enjoy 12 months “all year” fishing under a season subscription, with no restriction on the number of visits they can make in a season.
Parent and Toddler
Iwade Parent and Toddler Group is on every Tuesday morning in term-time from 9am to 11am Iwade Village Hall. Now run by Tinkerbells thank you Tinkerbells for keeping it going! £2.50 for the first child and 50p for each additional child.

Rainbows is on Mondays from 4.30-5.40pm at Iwade Village Hall in term-time. There is a long waiting list currently so do get your child on the waiting list as soon as you can. Rainbows urgently need volunteers so do get in touch if you can help.
Reading and Book Group
Iwade Reading and Book Group get together on the second Tuesday of the month at Iwade Barn at 10.30am. Everyone most welcome so why not go along, drinks and a slice of cake!
Liz Sanchez & Shawn Washer
We are a driven, encouraging friendly group of runners. Our ability goes from 5k beginners to half marathon established runners. We cater for all abilities & nobody gets left behind, that’s the golden rule. Mondays & Wednesdays at 7pm at Iwade Village Centre. Also do monthly ParkRun and sometimes a Friday but do get in touch.
Scouts (1st Iwade Scouts) is held on Thursday evenings at Iwade Village Hall for boys and girls aged 10 and a half to 14. From 7.15pm to 8.45pm termtime only. Get in touch to find out more.
